About Us

”Through the outstanding key-person system children are emotionally secure. This provides an excellent base for children to explore and gain confidence” Ofsted, 2016

During the all important “formative” years from 2 to 5 children have a natural desire for and a love of learning and our highly qualified and motivated staff ensure that we provide a loving, caring, safe environment in which all our children are given the opportunity to grow and develop in every aspect of their life.

Outdoor learning has always been fundamental to the approach of Little Owls and we are pleased to now be taking that development a step further through our new Forest School programme.

Our motivation is that learning should be enjoyable, exciting and fun and we are confident that children will find Little Owls a place where they can discover their world, learn and explore new experiences through play and these experiences will stay with them forever. We have an absolute commitment to the safeguarding of children.

We recognise that each child is unique and in partnership with parents we aim to provide an enabling environment for every child to reach their full potential.

A WARM WELCOME

Meet Our Team

Katie Keeble
Manager

Hello, I'm Katie. I had the great fortune of joining the Little Owls family in July 2022. I am married with two teenage children. My passion for the magic of early years started in 2014 when my children were attending pre-school. Over the years, I have treasured the honour it is to play a part in a child's early-years chapter.

I absolutely adore animals!!  I have three dogs, two guinea pigs and a tortoise. Some of my favourite things to do in my spare time are walking, cycling, camping and to be on a beach with sandy toes. The Little Owls Family welcomed me with warmth and kindness, it truly is a special place in a magnificent setting.

Wendy Gale
Deputy Manager

“Hi I’m Wendy, I live locally and I’m married with two grown up children. I have worked at Little Owls for 20 years and love our countryside setting and our family feel which enhances our children to a great start to their education. My hobbies are running, walking my dog in our lovely countryside, cooking and when I can visiting European cities.”

Tina Law
Pre-School Assistant

Hi! I'm Tina and I live locally with my husband, two young children, dogs and hens! My own children adored their time at Little Owls and knowing what a truly special place it is, I recently jumped at the chance to become part of the team. I was a Primary school teacher but am now loving the magic of working with such young children, helping to nurture their natural curiosity and wonder. I also have my own ballet school and in my spare time enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking the beautiful countryside, travelling and going to the theatre.
