July Newsletter

We can’t believe the last week is fast approaching and we will be breaking up for six weeks. We will soon be saying farewell to some of our lovely Little Owls and welcoming some new children in. This term we have been learning about ‘going on holiday’. The children have enjoyed the many exciting arts and crafts, the visitors we were lucky to have and the teddy bears picnic. I think their special toys enjoyed it too.

When we return in September we will be looking at ‘All About Me’. This will be a great way to get to know our new friends and let our continuing children share any new news that may be happening in their family.

SPORTS DAY (21ST JULY 2017 AT 10:30):

We are excited to finish the school year with all our Little Owls and their families. Come and watch your little ones race and celebrate all their achievements over the last year. Please arrive at Witchampton Cricket Grounds at 10:30 am, for races, leaver’s presentation and buffet to finish.

ZOOLAB VISIT:

On Thursday the 28th of September we will be having a visit from ZooLab, to do a work shop about ‘All About Me’. The children will get a chance to hold a variety of different animals and learn about what they do. Keep an eye out in September for permission slips.

COME AND TALK TO OUR LITTLE OWLS:

We will be talking about the special events or traditions, in our different families in September. We would love to invite parents, grandparents or friends to come and talk about what is important in your family. For example, something you may celebrate a language you might speak or a recipe that your family enjoy.

If you would be interested in sharing this with the pre-school, please let a Little Owls team member know
